The drop-down list above the map allows you to select which data value is displayed adjacent to the buoy symbol.   The value displayed represents the latest recorded data, with a value in parentheses indicating this was not from the most recently received data.

If you hover the mousepointer over a buoy symbol, the left-hand frame will display a summary of the most recent data transmission.

Click on a symbol to display data for that buoy.

Key to map symbols
é	Active buoy (the arrow's direction shows WAVE DIRECTION and its size indicates WAVE HEIGHT from the most recent transmission).  Where the data are more than 6 hours old, the arrow will be displayed as an outline (rather than filled).
é	Active buoy (the arrow's direction shows WIND DIRECTION and its size indicates WAVE HEIGHT from the most recent transmission).  Where the data are more than 6 hours old, the arrow will be displayed as an outline (rather than filled).
l	Active buoy (with no valid directional data available from the most recent transmission).  Where the data are more than 6 hours old, the circle will be displayed as an outline (rather than filled).
l	Inactive buoy, i.e. no valid wave height data received within the previous 36 hours.
l	Location of future deployment.
